COMEDY CLUB

If it is true that laughing is good for you, then one of the healthiest things you can do is to be at Savarino's Next Door when John Savarino presents the Comedy Club.

Although laughing is not mandatory, the comedians that have been performing in the recent months have given the audience no other choice. The material is fresh and the comedians are professionals. These professional performers are part of the Improv Circuit, which is a collection of some of the best comedians in the country. Many of the comedians, including the ones that have performed in Hillsdale, have appeared on HBO, Showtime and other national television networks.

It is always fascinating that most of the material used by the comedians is simply looking at the oddities and telling stories of the bizarre happenings of everyday life. But these comedians have the ability to tell these stories in such a fashion that can bring out uncontrollable laughter, tears to eyes, and sometimes pressure to the bladder.

The comedians picked for the show by John Savarino are not the "Eddie Murphy Type" that rely heavily on vulgar and anatomy jokes. The comedians at the Savarino's Next Door have been using an "R" rated type of comedy and no one in the audience has appeared offended.

The Comedy Club is present about every four weeks.
